Granja de San Ildefonso
San
Ildefonso, or La Granja, or La Granja de San Ildefonso,
is a town and municipality in the province of Segovia,
Spain, situated 54 km northwest of Madrid, where
Philip V, the first monarch of the Bourbon Dynasty,
built a splendid palace - La Granja - in 1721-24.
It has been called "the Versailles of Spain".
